Foodie Blogroll widget/code

    I’m hoping someone here can help. I’m trying to load or add the Foodie Blogroll java script following their instructions for a wordpress blog. I add their script into the TEXT widget, however when I select save it disappears. I feel like it the code they’ve given me to use with wordpress is incorrect but they say it is correct. Can anyone here please help with this issue. Thanks

    Hi there,

    I’m sorry, but if the blogroll uses Javascript it will not work, because we do not allow certain code like that on WordPress.com for security reasons. These restrictions are in place to prevent any disruptions in service due to potentially malicious code. You can read more about this here: Code

    It looks like Foodie Blogroll has an alternative for WordPress.com. Take a look at #39 in their FAQ here: http://www.foodieblogroll.com/faq
