Footer Widgets Not Visible

  I’m trying to add my social icons to the footer area one using the widgets. I have them added, but I don’t see them showing up in the footer. There is only a black bar. Help?

  Hi there,

  The way that the Singl theme is designed, footer widgets are hidden by default (to maintain a clean and minimal design) and are not shown unless you click on an arrow in the footer to reveal them.

  

  This theme does have an option to show social icons in the header, but not on the footer. You can add social icons in the header by visiting https://wordpress.com/customize/ and then clicking on the theme options tab.
