  When you signup with WordPress.com by default you are assigned “Free plan” which helps you to build your website for free, in the free plan you get domain ending with “.wordpress.com” and it’s always free forever.

  But if you wish to use a custom domain like the domain ending with “.com” you’ll have to upgrade with one of our plans to get free custom-domain or either you can use your own domain if you already own.

  With free plans some resource are limited.
