Forget password – very depressed

  Dear Support Officer,

  I have a site: xiongml81.wordpress.com, which I used for years already!!!

  And I used to keep my browser to auto login with the password. However, I recently kill my browser data, which lost my password.

  I have tried couple ways to try to get back to login, and NO LUCK!

  First of all, my register email: (email visible only to moderators and staff) has been disabled, which I could not able to reset password by login to it.

  Secondly, I tried fill in the forget password information, and seems it doesn’t really send the SMS code.

  What I really need is if possible, please send me the reset password link to my another associated email: (email visible only to moderators and staff) or send me to SMS code to my associated phone number, which my phone number is end with (1951), I believed that is stored in my security setting for the account.

  If there is another option other than that, please do let me know. My email is: (email visible only to moderators and staff), which I just registered the new account with this email today.

  Again, I really appreciated if you could help me to fix this issue as I have been struggle for the whole day.

  Hi there,

  If you no longer have access to the email you used to create the account, you’ll need to verify your ownership of the account via another method as we describe in Account Recovery

  If you can’t verify your ownership via those methods we can’t give you access to the account. We can’t send a password reset link to a different email address than what is linked to the account.

  Hi kokkieh

  If I remember correctly, if I add an associated email or phone to the account, I would get the reset link or code for it, right?

  Could you at least let me know if the account set up with these? If so, could you let me know how to do the reset password via these options?

  That account doesn’t have a recovery email set up, and had never had two-step authentication active, so there is no connected phone number. So the only way to regain access to that account is via the email address connected to the account, or via our account recovery form.
