Forgotten Username and Password

    I went to set up a new blog on WordPress.com, but I found that one is already set up with the same name (my actual name). I think I set it up as a test site initially before I decided to switch to WordPress.org and have a self hosted site. I can’t seem to find a record of my username and password for the wordpress.com site.

    Is there any way of checking that it was me that set up the site and how can I retrieve the username and password for it?
