  Is there a form builder for WordPress.com sites?

  No.The only form code we can use is this one http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

  So if I want to allow for people to enter their contact information with specific categories and upload photos of themselves for our Mentor Program, would I have to do a custom webpage with my own code? I am trying to migrate the site from Wix with a rough starting form on this page: http://kesh99.wix.com/stemodels3#!submit/ck0q

  I wonder if maybe we should just switch over now to WordPress.org self-hosted solution or build it on WordPress.com first to get our feet wet. Not sure if purchasing a theme for the .com would be a problem after we migrate to a self-hosted solution with .org files.

  Any advice would be most appreciated. Also what is the best way to find answers to such questions. I tried Google and the WordPress.com support site first, but maybe I am just not experienced with how to search there. The results I get back don’t really pertain to the keywords I used.

  You will need a WordPress.org solution for the kind of site you have in mind.
