I cannot figure out how to switch my pages back to the block editor instead of the classic editor. Also the page keeps deleting my work and does not save automatically. How do I fix this? How do I make my page full width, change the font, and change the paragraph spacing?

  • Hi there,

I cannot figure out how to switch my pages back to the block editor instead of the classic editor.

Start a new post at My Site ->Site ->Posts. In the editor settings sidebar on the right you should see an option to switch back to the block editor. Click that, and new posts you create from that point on will be in the block editor.

If you’re speaking of existing posts created in the classic editor, first enable the block editor as I explained above. Then go back to the posts list and edit an existing post. The post should load in the block editor, with the existing content loaded in a Classic Block. The options for that block should include one to convert the content into regular blocks.

Also the page keeps deleting my work and does not save automatically. How do I fix this?

How do I make my page full width, change the font, and change the paragraph spacing?

Your site’s pages are already full-width, as your theme does not have a sidebar. If you mean you want the content area wider, that will require custom CSS, and you’ll need to be on the Premium Plan to do this. Likewise for modifying paragraph spacing.

Changing fonts is not supported in the theme you’re using. To use custom fonts you’ll need to switch to one of our older themes that weren’t specifically designed for the block editor – none of our new block editor themes support custom fonts at this time.
