Former Webmaster Left Me No Log-on

    Hi Experts – a former webmaster that took my last month’s payment and disappeared left me with a blog fed by IFFFT that is now broken and causing me all kinds of duplication issues – I am a longtime wordpress.com member and cannot get in and the name is http://www.thepattisallgroupblog.wordpress.com – obviously, the name is an iteration of me, my company, my location for the last 30 years – I have no problem establishing my identity and integrity. Can someone suggest a method of taking over a blog that has been abandoned under suspicion by an old webmaster and reclaiming it?

    Hi there,

    The only way we can give you access to that site is if you’re able to provide sufficient verification that you are the owner of the account that created that site. You can see our account recovery process here:

    We cannot accept other forms of verification, like photo ID, as we did not request that information when the site and account was created, so there’s nothing we can verify it against.
