Forwarding domain to SquareSpace

  Hi, I’m trying to map my domain to my SquareSpace website. I’ve followed all of the instructions on Squarespace but, as other people have noted, I can’t forward the domain name through WordPress. How do I go about doing this? Can WordPress do this for me?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The domain manager at WordPress.com does not support domain forwarding, so I went ahead and set up the DNS you need on this end to map your domain to Squarespace. Please note that it can take up to 72 hours for changes like this to take effect everywhere.

  You’ll need to go ahead and complete step #3 in the Squarespace instructions here: MAPPING A DOMAIN (GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS)

  Once the domain changes take effect, you’ll be able to see your Squarespace site when you visit your domain. Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)

  You’re welcome! If you already did step #3, you’re all set — you don’t have to do it again. :)

  I just checked your domain, and I can see your Squarespace site there. It looks great! (Your tree stand jewelry holder is awesome.) If you don’t see that site at your domain yet, just sit tight — it should show up soon. :)
