  We used a developer to update our website who without permission changed the passwords and usernames and now cannot gain access to our website. How do

  Hi there,

  If your developer created the site using the open source WordPress software at another host, we cannot help with this. The password for such a site site has no connection to your WordPress.com account, but is stored in your site’s database on your hosting provider’s servers. We don’t have any access there to help you reset it.
