fraudulent email

    Received the following email and just wanted to draw attention to it, as I’m sure some people may get tricked into this.

    Dear Customer,
    Your WordPress database is out-of-date, and must be upgrade before 25/08/2018.
    The upgrade process may take a while, so please be patient.
    Click here to Upgrade WordPress

    I can see from the sender its not from wordpress, but looks very authentic in its design, layout, color and inclusion of wordpress logos etc.
    Just a heads up to all.

    Hi there, thanks a lot for reporting this. I’m sending an email to the email address you have on your account with instructions on how to get that to us so that we can investigate. Please let us know if you do not get the email.
