  This said free blog and then it wants credit card information and I’m a high school student and want to use this in my newspaper class. I don’t have a credit card and if it’s free, why do I need one.

  Hey there @emwilliams82707! Since we’re a “freemium” service, the system will nudge you toward upgrades when it can, but you don’t have to buy anything.

  – Choose to use a free domain

  – One the plans page, you should have an option to pick free or skip the plan
