Free domain name with personal ccount

  HI
  I am trying to register my free custom domain name which I have with my personal account but it seems to want to charge me for it. Am I doing something wrong?

  A custom domain is free and included with a hosting plan upgrade. You’ll need to add one of those from https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Otherwise, you can continue with the free site option.
