Free plan and bussines plan

  I have small question about subscription of wordpress. Im currently on free plan and i want to buy bussines plan but I want to know if I have to subscribe it only when I am creating website or even after i successfully created one?

  Hello there,

  Generally, you would need to upgrade to the business plan, and then build the site.

  This is because this will enable features you might need, for instance, installing plugins and themes.

  Thank you very much for your answer! One another question. Can I export plugins with my website after I finished building it? And when after that I cancel my subscription of business plan will plugins still be on my exported site?

  Hi there,

  That depends on the plugins. Some plugins allow you to export the data and settings while others don’t.

  There are of course backup plugins like our built-in one (https://wordpress.com/support/restore/#when-to-use-backups) that allow you to take complete site backups and can be used to migrate a site.

  No these plugins wouldn’t remain.

  A downgrade/expiration of a plan is also a downgrade of features, for instance being able to use plugins.
