Free site vs different plans

    Hello there, I wanted to create a new free site, however, I wanted to have the free address .wordpress.com, but there is no such option to choose from.
    There are a few suggestions, like .com, which says that registering is free and renewal is 72 PLN yearly. But when I choose this option it tells me to choose from different plans, the cheapest is personal for 14 PLN monthly, paid annually. And I can’t seem to skip that step. So my question is whether it is indeed for free and I pay only 72 PLN after 1 year for renewal or I will need to pay those 14 PLNx 12 after 1 year plus 72 for renewal? It makes a difference😉

    Is there a chance to create completely free .wordpress.com site?

    Hi there,

    To create a site with the free *.wordpress.com address, make sure you select “Business” as the type of site in the first step. If you select Blog, you’ll instead have the option for a free .blog subdomain. It works exactly the same as the free WordPress.com address, except it will be *.home.blog, or *.art.blog, or something like that.

    Will I be able to change the view it suggests for me afterwards or will it look exactly as it is?
    Also, could you refer to my payment questions in case I change my mind and select blog type eventually?

    We don’t offer monthly rates, that’s just there for comparison, so it would renew each year at the same rate.
