Free theme became charged-for Premium theme upon upgrade to Premium Plan

    I signed up for the free two week Premium Plan trial yesterday and got charged for a Premium Theme, even though I was and still am using a free theme (Chateau). Upon upgrading, my theme suddenly changed to a different one (which had me all confused), but I just changed this back to Chateau. I’m not sure why I am being charged for a Premium theme when all I wanted to do is try out the Premium Plan, using the free Chateau theme…
    As I understood it, the Premium Plan allows extra customization options on free themes, but now I’m wondering if one actually has to pay once a year for the Premium Plan and then also a once-off fee for being allowed to customize the theme, even if this theme was listed as free? If this is the case, this doesn’t come across clearly at all in the information one is given upon being asked to upgrade…

    Any advice would be appreciated!

    Hi there!

    Sorry for the confusion. It sounds like there was an errant Premium theme in your cart when you completed the trial set up. I’ve refunded that purchase and removed the theme from your account. It normally takes around a week for a refund to appear on your bank statement.
