Free year ?

    Hi, I wanted to purchase a yearly plan and it said the first year is free of charge which is amazing, since I would love to start a basic website with wordpress but I am not sure of its features and whether it would suit my preferences. However, I added my bank information and tried the paypal options and both were declined. I did move my money from my business accounts to my personal ones, but I didn’t think it was an issue since the first year is for free, right?
    I guess that WordPress is still trying to withdraw 50$ from my account. I am wondering how is it free if it’s withdrawing money …or am I doing something wrong?
    I’ve had free trials of apps before and have been charged a sum after the free trial. I didn’t know it was necessary to pay in advance for a free trial.
    Will it withdraw the money and then I will get a pay back? I don’t understand this and I cannot seem to find any useful information in the help section. Thanks.

    You didn’t read our paid plans carefully. Only the domain is free the first year but the paid plan isn’t.
    But you have a free site https://natmmarton.wordpress.com/ which hasn’t been launched yet.
