Freeing up a non-existent username

    Hi there my website is jackofharts.co.uk – When I try and register jackofharts wordpress says it is reserved – yet no blog exists. Can you please free up the username jackofharts?

    Currently I am stuck with jackofhart – minus the “s”. Please help.

    Someone has reserved that and WP.com won’t release it, but if you can get in contact with the person, you can ask him to transfer it.

    If it’s just a matter of the username, you can change the display name by going to the Profile page and putting it in under Nickname, then Save Changes, then going back and selecting that from the drop down menu and saving changes.
