Fresh and Clean – sticky posts aren't showing up on front page

  This is driving me batty. I’m using the Fresh and Clean theme. I’ve figured out how to get sticky posts in the main slider (the dog post) but for some reason my sticky posts aren’t showing up underneath (with the images and excerpts as described on the theme page). The post I’ve been trying with is http://sleeptalkatqueens.wordpress.com/2012/05/21/the-queens-student-and-the-pea/ . It’s been made sticky, it has a featured image that is too small to make it go in the featured slider, it has an excerpt…. still no go. Any ideas what’s going on?

  Never mind! Turns out having the front page as a static page rather than ‘new posts’ is not a good idea. And this is why 2am is not the optimal time for webpage design. Carry on! ;)
