friends can't view blog content even after I send an invitation to their email

  I’ve invited several persons to look at/join my blog (using their email addresses) and none of them can get on the site/get it work. Here is an email from one explaining the problem:

  “You can’t do anything until you sign up for an account, which is easy (there is a small link on left hand side to just sign up to view instead of create blog, not intuitive) but after filling out info and submitting, nothing happens. it looks like they should send a link via email but so far (many many tries) i cannot get it to complete the sign up process. I went to support page which is “closed”.”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,
  Please post the WordPress.COM usernames that were registered and the email addresses here and the software will redact them ie. HIDE them so only Staff can read them. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  You can set the blog back to private as Staff can still access and view it in that mode. To change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 .

  Hi there!

  So, if they’ve now created a new WordPress.com account, have them go back to the email and click on the “Accept Invitation” link.

  If they have not created an account yet, send them here:

  https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1

  Once they have an account set up and they’re logged in, send them back to the email to accept the invitation.
