from .com to .org: Please give directions and images that match!

  I bought my url through wordpress.com and now want to go to wordpress.org through hostgator. I have read your directions. THEY DON’T MATCH!!!! I NEED SOMEONE TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Actually, it looks like sheronbrownphd.com is just mapped to WordPress.com. The WHOIS info shows enom.com as the domain registrar.

  So that probably explains the trouble you are having following the instructions for domains registered at WordPress.com.

  Thanks. After I calmed down from frustration, I researched further and found the same info so I called eNom and the issue has been resolved. By the way if anyone in my situation wants to unlock their domain name call eNom and ask for the Google Clients department…otherwise, they are no help. Thanks again rootjosh.
