from drupal to WordPress – TsoHost as domain host

The organisation I work for have a website built on drupal (I think hosted by pantheon) and its domain is hosted by TsoHost. We now want to use WordPress and move away from the drupal setting as it is very costly. We would like to keep TsoHost as our domain host.

Can someone advise what is the best way to go about it? Do we purchase WordPress hosting , build a site and when ready request TsoHost to do the rest (whatever needs doing) Or do we buy a domain through TsoHost, build a site using wordpress and when ready ask TsoHost to redirect?
We are familiar with Bluehost and WordPress.org but unsure how TsoHost works with WordPress. Any advice will be appreciated.

This is describing a site that would be running their own WordPress installation. The information to get started with that process is here:

Understand, that what you’ve described is not the same thing as using managed hosting from us at WordPress.com.
