Front page not seperate from site header

I can’t seem to make the Sela theme front page of my website the same as the theme suggested.
I have set the featured image okay.
Howeverm the Front page title and content won’t appear like a seperate box (like in the theme demo). It is attached to the site header, which I don’t want.
Also – when I was playing around I loaded up widgets to the main page – how do I delete/ change these and also have them appear in a seperate box.

The page title and content now appear in a white box in the center of the Front Page template page on your website, as they should.
Also – when I was playing around I loaded up widgets to the main page – how do I delete/ change these and also have them appear in a seperate box.
All WordPress widgets include a delete option which appear at the bottom left when they are opened. You can also inactivate widgets by dragging them to the inactive widget section, which appears below the Available widgets section.

Thank you music doc 1. Thats great.
gillian – I changed the goran theme which had the front page option in the cusromiser tool on the right side of the screen. Then changed back to sela. Hope that helps you too. -

I see that I only partially answered your question
how do I delete/ change these and also have them appear in a seperate box.
Do you still have questions regarding editing/modifying widgets? I’m not sure what you mean by “have them in a separate box.”
