frustration re. deleted blog comments

    It’s extremely frustrating to write a long comment on a blog, hit the button to post. then be taken to a WordPress login page, and be returned to the comment section with an empty comment (i.e. with the original long comment). Further there seems to be no way to login before making yhd comment. E.g. I tried to login to WordPress, then go to the blog and my comment, to no avail, e.g. got the same frustrating behaviir (again !)
