FTP Credentials

  Hi there,

  I am currently trying to get verification for using the google search engine console by uploading a html file to my wordpress website.
  I have downloaded filezilla and have tried to connect to my website but it does not seem to be working.
  I have to get the correct FTP credentials of my account on the server for filezilla to work but I do not know how to do that.

  Here are 3 things that an article states I need to do this:

  1.Your website ftp address (usually ftp://example.com if your URL is http://example.com)
  2.Your ftp username
  3.Your ftp password

  Does anyone know how to get their FTP username and password?
  I would greatly appreciate the support, thanks.

  Hi,

  WordPress.com does not have FTP access for uploading files. All uploading is done through the Media Library:
