Full Frame theme Images are not clear

  Hi WordPress Team,

  I bought the Full Frame theme, but my images are not clear and I can’t seem to change the resolution of the image.

  I’m wondering if this is because I haven’t registered my domain?
  and also once I register my domain, will I have the Custom Design feature fully accessible?

  I’m a photographer and I want the images to be clear.

  I’m willing to pay the $18 per year, but I need to know if I can change the image clarity/resolution.

  Hi there,

  I bought the Full Frame theme, but my images are not clear and I can’t seem to change the resolution of the image.

  The best way to increase the image resolution is to follow the “initial setup” steps mentioned on the Full Frame theme page:

  Initial Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Media
  2. Set the thumbnails size to 600 wide by 400 tall and check the crop option so thumbnails are cropped to those exact dimensions.
  3. Set the medium size to 900 max width and set max height to 0 (no max height).
  4. Set the large size to 1280 max width and set max height to 0 (no max height).

  Increasing the large size in your media settings there will increase the resolution used for the featured images on your site’s front page.

  No, registering a custom domain doesn’t change the other features available on your site. If you’d like the Custom Design features you can purchase that upgrade separately from the Store page in your site’s dashboard, or you can upgrade to the WordPress.com Premium plan to get a custom domain, custom design, and other premium features.
