G Suite Access Issue
-
Howdy,
My G Suite was working fine as long as I remained connected to this WordPress blog. I had to sign out of my account, and in to my organization’s WordPress account to do some work there. When I tried to get back into the G Suite account associated with my own WordPress blog, I was locked out. I never got a password for it. While wading through recovery helps, I eventually got to the part where it told me to “Add a CNAME record to your domain’s DNS records”.
I have no idea how to do ANY of that. It told me to use this template when contacting my domain host–which I assume is you…
************************************************************
Dear Support,Would you please help me add a CNAME record to my domain’s DNS records?
My domain is:
My CNAME record (destination/target) is:
My CNAME record (host/label) points to:
Please contact me at:
Thanks,
<your name>
******************************************************************How do I find my domain’s DMS settings?
HELP!!! My document I need to post tomorrow (8-26) is trapped in this G Suite’s Google Docs!
I could not find a way to e-mail this question to you, so that is why I left the info in the template in generic form. For what it’s worth, you can contact me at:

Hi –
Please confirm which domain you’re using that’s connected to the GSuite account in question. ccchardcorps.com is hosted by WordPress.com.
There’s 1 license on this account for ccchardcorps.com. You are signed in correctly to WordPress.com. Do I understand it that you are unable to sign in to the email client?

That is correct. The email client associated with ccchardcorps.com.
Am I supposed to use the same password as ccchardcorps.com? If so, I will probably have to reset it. My computer remembers it, but I do not.

Would the email client password be the same as the one for ccchardcorps.com? If so, I think I’ll have to reset it. My computer remembers it when I log into WordPress, but I do not.

Your G Suite account does not use the same password as your WordPress.com account/site, no, as these are two completely separate accounts, one managed by us, and the other managed by Google.
When you bought G Suite we sent you an email with a temporary password. That’s what you used to log in the first time, but at that point you would have been prompted to set a new password for that account. If you skipped that step, it means the account currently has no password, with no way to log in.
I’ve reset your password for that email account. You’ll receive a new temporary password via email. When you use that to log in, please make sure to set a new permanent password for that account that you can use to log in again in future.
Also note that G Suite uses the regular Gmail login functionality, so you don’t need to log out in order to log into a different account. Gmail allows you to log into different accounts at the same time – just click your profile picture top right in Gmail, and click on Add Account to log into a second account. Then you can just click that profile picture again to switch between different accounts.
