Gallery captions on two separate lines

    On my blog, brushpoetry.wordpress.com, I have a gallery of pictures, each with a caption. At present the captions are spread out over 2 lines, due to their length. I have no control over where the line is broken. I would like to be able to place a line break after the title of each painting, to neaten things up.

    Instead of:
    “Periphery: Acrylic on canvas, 60cm x 75cm”

    I would like:
    “Periphery:
    Acrylic on canvas, 60cm x 75cm”

    Is this possible? When I edit the picture and place a line break in the ‘caption’ section, it has no effect.
