Gallery Disappeared

  Hi – I had named a gallery and saved it and then went t get my media and import about 80 photos. I sorted the photos and was putting in titles and captions when the gallery disappeared. It was a lot of work to organize the photos and write the captions and now this work has disappeared and I do not know why or what to do. Any ideas/thoughts/help appreciated.

  When you say “disappeared” can you be a little more specific?

  On what screen were you adding the titles and captions, in the Media Manager after uploading or in the Media Library?

  If the Media Manager, did the page go blank?

  Did you lose all the titles and captions you had already entered or were they saved?

  What browser and version are you using?

  When I said disappeared, I meant that all of the media that I had uploaded had become inaccessible; I couldn’t find it. I don’t know what I did. I was using IE9 and eventually saw that cleaning out the temporary Internet files might help. It didn’t work, but when I restarted the next day the files were back so I’m guessing that is what solved the problem. Thanks for responding! It was quite a relief to see that all that effort wasn’t wasted.
