Gallery post not working?

  I am trying to create a Gallery post on my blog. I would like to use a custom setting, either rectangle or square. I was able to do it once, but edited it and have not been able do it since. I have followed all directions, have put the appropriate code into the Text like I did the 1st time, but I keep getting a “No Items Found” box on the page instead of the correct Gallery display. The images are below this, in the same random order I uploaded them as.

  You can change the gallery type by clicking on the gallery in the post editor and then clicking the edit (pencil) icon: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/#editing-a-gallery-or-slideshow

  There, you can choose exactly what type of gallery you’d like to change it to. You can also use one of the gallery shortcodes listed here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/#gallery-shortcode
