  I am currently using GoDaddy (horrible setup) and am looking to transfer my domain to WordPress. Can this be achieved?

  Secondly, I am looking to sell consulting services/packages on my website, does this mean I require an e-commerce solution? Or can I use the premium subscription and have a PayPal add-on whereby people are re-directed to the PayPal site to finalise payments. Please advise.

  WordPress.com isn’t able to accept incoming domain transfers, so you’ll need to keep your domain registered there. However, you can use it with your site here by mapping the domain to WordPress.com. Just let me know if you have any questions about that process.

  If you’d like to use PayPal to accept payments for your services, you can add a PayPal button to your site to accept payments there, without any other e-commerce add-ons or upgrades.

  If you decide at some point that you’d prefer a full e-commerce solution, you can add that on as part of the WordPress.com Business plan.
