Generally confused by your product

    Hello,

    I am trying very hard to set up my site on your platform. Frustrating so.

    To start with just finding this contact format has been hard and confusing.
    Doing anything on my “created “ site woodworkswork.wordpress.com is super confusing. The navigation is all overwhelmingly all over the place. Trying figure out what next is a nightmare.
    Trying to test what I have actually done is impossible with different results returned each time.
    I have no idea what has updated and what has not.
    To name a few issues.

    Being a persistent fellow I am now trying to link my site to Adsense via this page
    Connect to AdSense and show ads on your WordPress site

    But unsurprisingly your page does not match what I read I need to do.

    Please can someone help me or at least refer me to a platform that the man in the street can use successfully?

    Most information you find on the internet is for the open source wordpress.org which is different from the wordpress.com platform. You find information regarding the wordpress.com platform at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/new-to-wordpress-com-resources-to-get-started/.
    You can’t put Adsense code on a free wordpress.com website unless you upgrade to the Business Plan, https://wordpress.com/pricing/
