get a domain? and my stats are off

    Hi,
    First of all I am a teacher and I have used WordPress for my daily blog with my students. I love it, they like the ease of using it, and their parents like it too. Thanks for this!
    Here are my 2 questions: 1) Why are my stats off the past month or so? It will state that only 4-5 people have checked my blog, and I know for a fact that my students are using this, looking up facts on my site and checking other details. This used to be accurate but I know it is not anymore. 2) I have been receiving emails from you to get a domain. I do not understand this, is it necessary? Important for a teacher / blogger like me? Please tell me why I keep receiving this note.

    The stats for http://kellychr7allendalems.wordpress.com/ appear normal to me. They’re not very high, but you have the same average visits and views per week that you’ve had since October last year. And when I viewed it just now my view immediately registered in your stats.

    Note that if your students are signed up to receive posts via email, it doesn’t register a view when they read posts in an email notification.

    2) I have been receiving emails from you to get a domain.

    Can you please tell me exactly what the email says and from which address it’s coming?
