  Hi,
  I paid someone to create a website for my business and have since lost contact with them. Is there some way that I can prove that I am the business owner so I can get access to the site.
  Any help will be greatly appreciated as I’m at a loss of what to do next!

  Since I didn’t create the site, I don’t have any proof of ownership as required in the account recovery guide.

  Since someone else created the site and paid for all the upgrades, there isn’t a way for us to transfer ownership to you.

  The only way to resolve this is to get in touch with the person that developed your site.
