Get back to old domain

  Hi,

  We’ve had an old (empty) blog for some years and I thought it would be a good idea to start again from scratch, so I deleted it.

  Now I can’t re-create a blog at the previous address because ‘Sorry, that site has already been used!’

  How can I ‘claim’ back this URL ?

  “drawbotics.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site”

  Anyone deleting a site these days is presented with the message:- “Be careful! Once a site is deleted it cannot be recovered. Please be sure before you proceed” I’m afraid that particular address is now lost for the foreseeable future and you will have to continue with your new (but similar) one.

  Once a site is deleted it cannot be recovered

  I was completely OK with this. It just doesn’t say that the domain is trashed & non-recoverable as well!
