Getting IP address of WordPress

  Hi,

  I’m plainning to use the domain I have for my wordpress blog.

  Before getting the domain, I should enter the IP address of the wordpress computer.

  After getting my own domain, is it free to use this as the ‘personal’ plan ?

  Using a custom domain is not free. It requires the personal plan upgrade. That plan includes the domain cost, hosting, and access to our support team. See here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Write back with any other questions. After you add the plan to the account the domain can be registered directly through WordPress.com and you don’t need to mess with any IPs or DNS records. Click on My Sites – Manage – Domains – Add New
