Getting my primary blog to show

  • Unknown's avatar

    1. The blog I set as primary is not the one that shows up on the domain. For example, when a user types in mountainviewchristian.ca, they are redirected to the blog, Wittenberg Door, not mountainviewchristian.wordpress.com (my primary blog). I want the blog, Mountain View Christian Church of Hamilton, Ontario (mountainviewchristian.wordpress.com) to show up.

    2. I moved my domain, mountainviewchristian.ca from Bell.ca to WordPress. How can I change it now from mountainviewchristian.wordpress.com to simply mountainviewchristian.ca ? Please note–I bought a premium upgrade today thinking I could do this.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

It looks like you added this domain to the wrong site. You can move it by going to the dashboard of the site its on (scottljacobsen.wordpress.com) and navigating to Store > My Upgrades. Under the Domain upgrade you’ll see a link to transfer your upgrade to another site.

Here’s more information about transfering upgrades between your WordPress.com sites:

    2. I moved my domain, mountainviewchristian.ca from Bell.ca to WordPress. How can I change it now from mountainviewchristian.wordpress.com to simply mountainviewchristian.ca ? Please note–I bought a premium upgrade today thinking I could do this.

Following the steps I gave you for #1 will get this sorted out.

Let me know if I can help with anything else!
