Getting "no_code" error when trying to activate JetPack
-
I’m trying to activate JetPack on our site faronics.com, but when I click the authorize button I get returned to the JetPack settings page with the following error:
Your Jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to happen. Guess you’re just lucky: no_code
Any idea what’s up? I thought it might be xmlrpc.php permissions so I fixed those up and still got the error.

Your xmlrpc.php is not reachable. Please contact your host to see if they are blocking xmlrpc.php.
Also please make sure you are running the latest WordPress and Jetpack version.
Afterwards you could try and disable all other plugins and reactivate Jetpack. This way we can see if other plugins interfere with Jetpack.

Thanks for the response. The full site is run on WordPress so the XMLRPC page is here: http://www.faronics.com/xmlrpc.php. It looks like xmlrpc is running and waiting for connections. I also double checked that it was enabled in the dashboard.
Sorry about the mix-up on the url.

Would you please try temporarily disabling all other plugins to rule-out a plugin conflict?
Theme functions can sometime interfere like plugins too, so if that doesn’t work, please try temporarily switching to Twenty Eleven.
