  I created a website with Squarespace that’s now up and running. I would like to try out WordPress but I’m not ready to transfer my domain/website over yet, and would like to keep the website running until I’ve created something on WordPress. Ideally, I don’t want any downtime on our current website. How would I go about this?

  You certainly can get your site set up here before switching your domain over!

  When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wordpress.com) that you can use to start building your new site.

  Here’s a guide that will help you migrate your site to WordPress.com:
