  Hi,
  So I bought my domain through godaddy and I see that they have a wordpress package.. is it better to go through their site or through wordpress separately? And I can still add my domain on a wordpress right?

  It all depends what you ultimate goals are. You’ve just set up a free site here at WordPress.com but you say you have a GoDaddy account too, so having already paid them you might be looking at using the WordPress.org software there. Read this:-
