Godaddy host my site

  • Hi there,

That depends on what you want to do.

I see you bought a premium plan for the WordPress.com site, isellcopiers.wordpress.com, earlier today, and added a domain mapping for the domain, isellcopiers.com.

If you want to use your domain with that WordPress.com site, it means we are your hosting provider, not GoDaddy. In that case GoDaddy is just your domain provider.

Optionally, you can also transfer your domain registration to us, so that we become your domain provider as well as your hosting provider, but that’s really up to you. If you prefer to keep your domain registered at GoDaddy, that’s completely fine.

On the other hand, if you have an existing site at isellcopiers.com that’s already hosted on GoDaddy’s servers, you’re using the open source WordPress.org software for that site, and don’t need any upgrades at all on WordPress.com. In that case, please contact GoDaddy support to help you point your domain back to their servers, and you can cancel the upgrades you bought from us for a full refund from https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

Please let me know if you have any questions about this.

OK. Thanks. I found out from my web advisor that I already have WordPress via GoDaddy so I need to cancel this account please.
