    i used godaddy to get my domain name and ipage is considered my hosting site?

    So does this mean now wordpress will be charging me the yearly fee? And it’s 15.99, right? What about drag and drop web building? Is that included? Haven’t done much on my website since I built it initially so need website building 101.

    Hi there,

    You don’t own any sites with us on WordPress.com. We would only charge you a fee if you created a site hosted on WordPress.com, and upgraded that site to one of our optional paid subscriptions.

    If your site is hosted with iPage, you’re using the free open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org, and any hosting costs you’re paying, you’re paying to iPage. We have absolutely nothing to do with that site of yours.

    Please contact iPage support to find out if their hosting includes any page builder functionality.
