GoDaddy transfer

  I’m trying to host my wordpress blog on GoDaddy and it’s asking me for the IP address and the FTP username and password. I called GoDaddy support and they told me I had to get it from WordPress. Can anyone help me at all with this?

  To be clear, there is no FTP access for WordPress.com sites. The instructions that GoDaddy is giving you are for migrating from a self-hosted WordPress.org site to GoDaddy. you might try making it clear to them that you have a WordPress.COM site that you want to migrate from.
