Goodreads widget won’t work

    ID (what I copied & paste in the widget): 4541562

    The issue is that when I copied and paste the ID, it loads then disappears. I also get the error message (from the thread). I tried logging out both in wordpress and goodreads then logging back in to see if it makes any difference. However, I’m still having the same issue. My ID won’t work.

    Thank you for that. If you didn’t already, can you try these exact steps?

    – Remove the widget

    – Publish your changes

    – Exist the customizer

    – Using another tab, log into Goodreads (stay logged in)

    – Enter the customizer again

    – Re-add the widget

    – Add the user ID & try to save changes

    If that doesn’t work, please let us know what user ID you’re using, and whether it’s OK if we try testing from our end. And, if we’re able to add it successfully, whether it’s alright for us to save our changes.

    My user ID: 4541562

    I did this already. It doesn’t work. I always log into Goodreads when I’m on WordPress.

    Okay, I can’t get it to save from our end either, so for now there’s nothing we can do.

    Our developers are looking into this, and we’ve also reached out to Goodreads to find out whether this might be an issue on their end. We’ll update you here once we have more info.
