Google analytics: finding footer.php in Black Letterhead template
-
Hi all,
I’ve been loosing hairs for a few hours trying to do something pretty simple: finding the **** footer.php files on my wordpress blog. My template is Black Letterhead. The aim is to install Google Analytics on it, and to do so I need to past some code in this file.
I am well aware of the following:
1- Appearence —-> Editor is the place where you would USUALLY find it. For some weird reasons, its is NOT available on this template. So I can’t get it fromt here.
2- Some pluggins exist (like tantan), but they STILL require you to access this file.
So, just to make things clear: I have a pretty good idea of what I need to do to install google analytics (eg copy the **** code in my footer.php file). My problem is getting that file!
P-S: Oh, I don’t know if it’s relevent, but I paid for the CSS upgrade. I there a place in the CSS code where I can past the code? As far as I know, that’s not going to work, but if you know better, you are most welcomed to enlighten me!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We can’t use Google analytics on WordPress.com blogs. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-info
We can’t use plugins on WordPress.com blogs

You can’t change code here, Google Analytics can’t be installed, you can’t edit the php files, CSS changes the looks not the functionality, you can’t do Plug-in’s here either.
All of this relates to security issues.
