Google Analytics in WordPress

  Hello,

  Is it possible to add google analytics to run on a publicly hosted wordpress blog?
  I know I can add the script to Plugins if I’m the one hosting the blog, but since wordpress.com is hosting mine : I don’t have a paid account is it still possible?

  I’m sorry, it’s not possible to install Google Analytics on WordPress.com. We do, however, offer a number of great stats features built into your blog.

  We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.

  However, we do have some really cool widgets. Perhaps one of those might meet your needs?
