Google Apps for Work
-
I purchased Google Apps for Work for by blog, but I haven’t been able to set it up. I received the initial email, but when I click on the link to the Admin Console, I get the following message:
You need to use a Google Apps account to log into Google Admin Console.
Sign into a Google Apps account to access Google Admin.
I used (email visible only to moderators and staff) when setting up everything for my blog, but these credentials aren’t working for the admin console. Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am having exactly the same issue. When I try to reset the google apps password it asks me to create a CNAME record on the domain. Which I cannot do…

Hi thedishwithkat,
The initial email you received should look something like the example here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/adding-google-apps-to-your-site/#completing-sign-up
In that email, under the link to log in to Google Apps, you’ll see an email address and a temporary password you can use to log in there. Are you having trouble logging in with those credentials?

Hi theartistandtheacademic,
To avoid confusion, can you please contact us directly or start a new forum thread about the trouble you’re having? That way we can keep track of your request separately, and we won’t get mixed up while helping you and thedishwithkat. Thanks!

Thank you, Rachel! I some how missed this email initially, but I just searched for it and was able to get my account set up!
