Google authenticator corrupted, can't get passed 2 step authentication

  Recently my Google authenticator app was corrupted after an OS update for my phone and I lost access to my verification codes for my account. I have also been unable to locate the file where I stored my back up codes due to a few problems with my computer.

  I have checked the forums and I have found a few people that have had this same problem and the only solution that has been available is for a team member from WordPress to email a one time verification code to access the account and change the settings. I’m only on a free blog so I can contact WordPress staff directly.

  The blog I am trying to access is http://nessportweb.wordpress.com/, the account I am posting from is a second account that I created in order to keep running while I try to get access to my original account.

  I have also done the same.. My phone was wiped a while back and I’ve been able to post but not change settings. I lost all of my backup codes as well. The blog I’m trying to access is mobilelinux.wordpress.com/ I would appreciate any help you could provide. Thank you in advance!
