Google Authenticator on Android – Has never worked for me
-
Hello,
I must have done something wrong when first setting this up. I don’t know / can’t disable and restart this process. The codes are never accepted but are generated? I must confess I was a bit confused having never used this approach. Can somebody explain how to disable ? and attempt to reinstate. At present I can only login by using the sms text option. Thanks in advance.

Hi there!
We have directions for disabling two factor authentication here:
You’ll find the steps to re-enable it in that same document.
Let me know if I can help with anything else!

Hello,
Getting a bit frustrated now. I can’t disable, I’ve got what I thought was a set of backup codes, I’ve tried two and they don’t let me disable. This is a bit like never checking a ‘backup’ until you need it. Sorry but don’t know how to disable the two step process that didn’t work in the first place.
Can a code be sent by SMS to enable me to carry out the disabling?
Thanks again.
Alan
