Google Search Error

    Hi There!
    Need your help..
When I search my name on Google in order to reach my blog,
The search result doesn’t lead to the blog’s Home Page (https://guymishael.wordpress.com/)
But to the category “Guy Mishael – Blog”, which is actually a broken link (https://guymishael.wordpress.com/category/%D7%92%D7%99%D7%90-%D7%9E%D7%99%D7%A9%D7%90%D7%9C-%D7%91%D7%9C%D7%95%D7%92/)

My question is why doesn’t the search in Google lead to the blog’s Home Page, but rather to a specific category? Is this related to the blog’s definitions?
If I used Google Webmaster Tools to remove this broken link, will the correct link appear then, or rather the blog will not be found in the search results at all?
(In other words, when my name is searched on Google, I’d like the search results for my name to be the blog’s Home Page)

    Many Thanks!

    Hi.

My question is why doesn’t the search in Google lead to the blog’s Home Page, but rather to a specific category?

When I do a Google search on the terms “GuyMishael WordPress.com” I find the first result is the homepage, the second is the broken link to an obsolete category page, the third is to an tag archives page, and the fourth is to a static page.

The order of the pages or posts indexed by Google presumably depends largely upon traffic, but may depend upon multiple other factors that Google employs to rank pages. The link to the category page that no longer exists will eventually be dropped by Google without you taking any action.

If I used Google Webmaster Tools to remove this broken link, will the correct link appear then, or rather the blog will not be found in the search results at all?</blockquote
This action might result in the dead link being removed sooner, but the link will not be replaced by anything. It’s place will be taken by the next in line.

Sorry, I inadvertently combined your second question with my response. That should have appeared as follows:

If I used Google Webmaster Tools to remove this broken link, will the correct link appear then, or rather the blog will not be found in the search results at all?

…or rather the blog will not be found in the search results at all?

For the Google search of “GuyMishael WordPress.com” (without quotation marks), I find that six of the seven search results link to valid pages or posts.
